Writing Clubs and Associations

Writers’ Community of Durham Region (WCDR)

This intrepid group of writers braves all kinds of weather to meet once a month at 8:30am on a Saturday to hear well respected authors, editors and publishers talk about the business of writing. Attendance typically ranges from 80 to 110 – on a Saturday morning!  And they come from all over southern Ontario. There’s lots of time for networking and the restaurant is big enough to seat everyone comfortably.  This group provides incredible value for writers.  Yes, I’m a member.  Yes, I’m a supporter.
